Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Banco Products(20.00%), J G Chemicals(20.00%), Siddha Ventures Ltd.(20.00%), Multibase India(19.99%), Fluidomat Ltd(19.99%), Alufluoride Ltd(19.99%), Aveer Foods(19.99%), Tokyo Finance(19.97%), Signpost India(19.21%) and Dishman Carbogen(18.87%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 110.64 points down at 77580.31, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 26.35 points at 23532.7.


In the Nifty50 index, 20 stocks closed in the green, while 30 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Banco Products, Tokyo Finance, Kiri Industries, Garware Poly and Natura Hue Chem hit their fresh 52-week high, while Ecoboard Ind, Loyal Textiles, ACME Solar Holdings, Vibhor Steel Tubes and ESAF Small Finance touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
