Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, VCU Data Mgmt(20.00%), BFL Asset Finvest(20.00%), Vimta Labs(19.99%), Hercules Hoists(19.90%), Choksi Labs(19.68%) and JSW Holdings(18.77%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 55.47 points down at 79486.32, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 51.15 points at 24148.2.


In the Nifty50 index, 23 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as JSW Holdings, Tera Software, IGC Industries, Avalon Technologies and Adroit Infotech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Aarti Inds, Suryalata Spin, Nicco Parks & Resorts, Ceigall India and Satin Creditcare touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
