Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Shree Metalloys(19.99%), Gravity(India)(19.93%) and Shree Rama Multi(19.31%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 941.88 points down at 78782.24, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 309.0 points at 23995.35.


In the Nifty50 index, 8 stocks closed in the green, while 42 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Shree Metalloys, Gravity(India), Shree Rama Multi, Chartered Cap and IGC Industries hit their fresh 52-week high, while Manjeera Const, Trijal Inds., BLS Infotech, Deepak Builders & En and Purple Finance touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
