Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Mohite Industries (19.99%), Soma Textiles(19.98%), Poojawestern Metalik(19.76%), Anjani Synth(18.90%), Deepak Fertilisers(16.47%) and Earum Pharmaceutical(15.65%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 138.74 points down at 80081.98, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 36.6 points at 24435.5.


In the Nifty50 index, 20 stocks closed in the green, while 30 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Mohite Industries, Interarch Building, Amber Enterprises, Firstsource and Coforge hit their fresh 52-week high, while Rajesh Exports, Yash Chemex Ltd., Advik Capital, Coffee Day Ent and Globale Tessile touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
