Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Suzlon Energy(PP)(13.54%), Alpine Housing(12.71%), Salasar Techno Engg(12.53%), FACT(12.26%), Jai Balaji Inds(11.92%), A Infrastructure(11.46%), Shriram EPC(11.36%), Piccadily Agro(10.56%), BDH Industries(10.49%) and Competent Auto(10.44%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 51.1 points down at 62130.57, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 0.55 points up at 18497.15.


In the Nifty 50 index, 28 stocks ended in the green, while 22 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Alpine Housing, Competent Auto, Narmada Gelatine, Punjab Sind Bank and G S Auto hit their fresh 52-week high, while Garnet Const, Dhruv Wellness, Bhoruka Alum, Kanchi Karpooram and Nicco Uco Alli touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
