Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Friday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Cubex Tubings(13.21%), G S Auto(12.39%), Optiemus Infra(11.71%), Lloyds Steels(11.25%), YES Bank(10.99%), Elnet Techn(10.39%), Jayaswal Neco(10.31%) and Narmada Gelatine(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 389.01 points down at 62181.67, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 112.75 points down at 18496.6.


In the Nifty 50 index, 18 stocks ended in the green, while 32 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as PlatinumOne Business Services Ltd., YES Bank, Narmada Gelatine, Clara Industries Ltd. and SBEC Sugar Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while Taaza International, Shukra Jewellery, Inox Green Energy Services Ltd., Indian Info Sof and Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
