Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Take Solutions(13.17%), Dr. Agarwals Eye H(13.13%), HLE Glasscoat(12.26%), WPIL Ltd(11.84%), MFL India(11.59%), Ruby Mills(11.06%), Resonance Spec(10.87%), Modern Dairies(10.78%), Navneet Education (10.64%) and Hardcastle Waud(10.63%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 51.73 points down at 58298.8, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 6.15 points down at 17382.0.


In the Nifty 50 index, 31 stocks ended in the green, while 19 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Navneet Education, Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd., Veerkrupa Jewellers Ltd., Wonderla Holidays and Diamines Chem hit their fresh 52-week high, while Birla Tyres, Oceanic Foods, Future Retail, ISF Ltd and Karda Const touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
