Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Vakrangee (13.09%), AGI Infra Ltd.(12.44%), Eureka Forbes Ltd.(12.06%), Margo Finance(11.8%), SBL Infratech Ltd.(11.39%), Oswal Agro Mill(10.73%), Banaras Beads(10.34%), Take Solutions(10.33%), Sonal Mercantile(10.19%) and Sagar Diamonds(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 508.62 points down at 53886.61, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 157.7 points down at 16058.3.


In the Nifty 50 index, 7 stocks ended in the green, while 43 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Rajeshwari Cans Ltd., AGI Infra Ltd., Morarka Finance, Maximus Intl. and PC Jeweller hit their fresh 52-week high, while Goel Food Products Ltd., Vikas Proppant & Gr, Arshiya, Gemstone Invst and Kkalpana lndustries touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
