Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 22 stocks ended in the green, while 28 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Marksans Pharma(14.47%), Birla Cable(13.19%), Sundaram Brake(13.04%), Wires Fabrics(12.49%), IRIS Business Servic(11.71%), M M Rubber(11.58%), Anjani Finance(11.46%), Terai Tea Co(11.4%), Vedavaag Sys(11.39%) and Shiva Global(11.36%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 100.42 points down at 53134.35, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 24.5 points down at 15810.85.


In the Nifty 50 index, 22 stocks ended in the green, while 28 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sungold Media and En, Orient Bell, Silver Touch Tech, Stanpacks Ltd and Shukra Pharma hit their fresh 52-week high, while Nath Ind., HKG Ltd, Lerthai Finance, Padmanabh Industrie and Andhra Cements touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
