Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Lumax Ind(11.33%), Sayaji Industries(11.26%), Medico Remedies(10.0%) and Arcee Ind(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 303.35 points down at 53749.26, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 99.35 points down at 16025.8.


In the Nifty 50 index, 19 stocks ended in the green, while 31 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Shri Keshav Cem, Vivid Mercantile, Nitin Castings, Mehta Housing and Lesha Ind hit their fresh 52-week high, while Elcid Invst, Majesco L(PP), TV Today Network, RS Software and Sadbhav Eng touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
