Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 19 stocks ended in the green, while 30 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Texmaco Infra(11.16%), Uma Exports Ltd.(10.87%), Bharat Seats(10.71%), Shree Pushkar Chem(10.68%), Vanta Bioscience(10.67%), Aayush Food & Herbs(10.63%), Deep Industries Ltd.(10.38%), Sahara Housing(10.29%), Ajcon Global(10.21%) and Shree Bhavya Fabric(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 364.91 points down at 54470.67, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 109.4 points down at 16301.85.


In the Nifty 50 index, 19 stocks ended in the green, while 30 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Campus Activewear Ltd., Riddhi Steel and Tub, Nitta Gelatin, Gallantt Ispat and Axita Cotton hit their fresh 52-week high, while PrismxGlobalVent(PP), Smruthi Org, Indostar Cap. Fin., Seacoast Shipping and Hind Copper touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
