Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 20 stocks ended in the green, while 30 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Clarus Infra(14.42%), Vadilal Ind(12.39%), Meghmani Organics Ltd.(12.26%), Kriti Nutrients(11.61%), Lahoti Overseas(11.58%), Gokul Refoils(11.39%), Eimco Elecon(11.06%), Indiabulls Intgrtd(10.1%), Lorenzini Apparels(10.0%) and GSS Infotech(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 84.88 points down at 56975.99, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 33.45 points down at 17069.1.


In the Nifty 50 index, 20 stocks ended in the green, while 30 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Shilchar Tech, SKP Securities, Ruby Mills, Gokaldas Export and Vadilal Ind hit their fresh 52-week high, while Solara Active Pharma, Future Market, Zee Learn, Evoq Remedies Ltd. and Kanungo Financiers touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
