Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 24 stocks ended in the green, while 26 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Seshasayee Paper(14.74%), Premco Global(14.37%), Genus Pwr Infra(13.95%), Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd.(13.91%), Indian Sucrose(13.63%), Zuari Agro Chem(13.38%), Jindal Worldwide(12.96%), Vaarad Ventures(12.93%), Dhanalaxmi Roto(12.64%) and TCPL Packaging(12.41%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 1172.19 points down at 57166.74, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 302.0 points down at 17173.65.


In the Nifty 50 index, 24 stocks ended in the green, while 26 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sunflag Iron, Pearl Polymers, Magadh Sugar Energy, Bang Overseas and Premier Poly hit their fresh 52-week high, while G G Engineering, Seacoast Shipping, Shree Worstex, Soni Medicare L and Kanungo Financiers touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
