Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, NHC Foods(13.75%), W H Brady(12.98%), YES Bank(12.83%), KCP Sugar(12.57%), POCL Enterprises(12.21%), Magadh Sugar Energy(12.05%), Sunshield Chem(11.83%), Vaibhav Global(11.82%), Shiva Global(11.78%) and IOL Chemicals(11.6%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 566.09 points down at 59610.41, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 149.75 points down at 17807.65.


In the Nifty 50 index, 20 stocks ended in the green, while 30 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Lokesh Machines, TheBykeHospitality, Deep Industries, NHC Foods and POCL Enterprises hit their fresh 52-week high, while Shashijit Infraproje, Evoq Remedies Ltd., Amradeep Ind, GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd. and Vijay Textiles touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
