Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, SPS Finquest(14.6%), HIM Teknoforge(13.85%), Aegis Logistics(13.48%), Shalimar Paints(13.46%), Hindustan Zinc(12.8%), Hind Aluminium(12.56%), Tata Metaliks(12.29%), W H Brady(12.24%), Krebs Biochem(12.17%) and KIOCL(10.33%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 778.38 points down at 55468.9, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 187.95 points down at 16605.95.


In the Nifty 50 index, 15 stocks ended in the green, while 35 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Unique Organics, SPS Finquest, GNFC, ERP Soft Sys and Salem Erode Invest hit their fresh 52-week high, while Taparia Tools, RO Jewels, Dr. Reddys, Helpage Finlease and Hind Nat Glass touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
