Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, GeeCee Ventures(14.89%), Yug Decor(14.33%), Gallantt Ispat(13.56%), Choice Intnl(13.25%), SIL Investments(12.05%), FutureLifestyleFash(11.64%), Suryalata Spin(11.45%), PNC Infratech(11.22%), Garware Poly(11.07%) and Shiva Texyarn(11.02%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 68.62 points down at 57232.06, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 28.95 points down at 17063.25.


In the Nifty 50 index, 24 stocks ended in the green, while 26 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sungold Media and En, Ganges Securities, Orient Bell, Yug Decor and SIL Investments hit their fresh 52-week high, while T & I Global, Narayani Steels, Dhani Ibull Ventures, RO Jewels and G G Engineering touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
