Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 11 stocks ended in the green, while 39 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Dhani Ibull Ventures(14.56%), Bhagyanagar Ind(13.3%), Nalwa Sons Invst(13.19%), Shivalik Bimetal(10.95%), Ambika Cotton(10.81%), HT Media(10.75%), Ishan Dyes Chem(10.03%) and Zuari Agro Chem(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 770.31 points down at 58788.02, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 219.8 points down at 17560.2.


In the Nifty 50 index, 11 stocks ended in the green, while 39 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Clara Industries Ltd., Himadri Speciality, Shivalik Bimetal, Ishan Dyes Chem and Genus Paper Boards hit their fresh 52-week high, while Emergent Global Edu, Superior Finlease, Suvidha Infra, Lynx Machinery and Neuland Labs touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
