Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 8 stocks ended in the green, while 42 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, OM Metal Infra(14.3%), BN Rathi Sec(14.11%), Cosco(India)(12.6%), Hemisphere Prop(12.39%), Times Green Energy(India)Ltd.(12.3%), Megastar Foods(12.07%), Krypton Ind(11.98%), PTC Financial(11.06%), Divyashakti Gran(10.86%) and Dai Ichi Kark(10.71%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 554.05 points down at 60754.86, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 195.05 points down at 18113.05.


In the Nifty 50 index, 8 stocks ended in the green, while 42 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as U H Zaveri, Khandwala Sec, King Infra Ventures, OM Metal Infra and BN Rathi Sec hit their fresh 52-week high, while Dilip Buildcon, Uday Jewellery, Spandana Sphoorty, IGL and Genomic Valley Biote touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
