Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 15 stocks ended in the green, while 34 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Martin Burn(14.64%), Banswara Syntex(14.1%), Manaksia Steels(13.97%), Sat Industries(13.41%), Nahar Poly Film(13.14%), Deepak Spinners(13.14%), Bharat Gears(13.1%), Rane(Madras)(12.77%), Mirza Intnl(12.59%) and Welspun Specialty(12.33%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 621.31 points down at 59601.84, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 179.35 points down at 17745.9.


In the Nifty 50 index, 15 stocks ended in the green, while 34 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sadhana Nitro, CSL Finance, Compuage Infocom, Nahar Capital and Quint Digital Media hit their fresh 52-week high, while Policy Bazaar, Janus Corporation, Valiant Comm, Arman Holdings and PayTM touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
