Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Borosil L(13.72%), Shahlon Silk Indust(13.33%), National Plast(13.21%), Swan Energy(12.6%), Bhartiya Intnl(12.57%), Kothari Fermen(12.3%), Gensol Engg(11.95%), Tokyo Plast Int(11.88%), Expleo Solutions(11.83%) and Bajaj Elec.(11.29%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 329.06 points down at 57788.03, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 103.5 points down at 17221.4.


In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks ended in the green, while 34 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as CMI FPE, Bhilwara Spin, Alphalogic Techsys, Pearl Polymers and Borosil L hit their fresh 52-week high, while Omnipotent Industries Ltd., Patel Integrat(PP), Star Health, Janus Corporation and Vikas Multicorp(PP)touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
