Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Friday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Hind Rectifiers(14.97%), Khandwala Sec(14.61%), Indokem Ltd(14.43%), CreditAccess Grameen(14.11%), Sumedha Fiscal(14.0%), WEP Solutions(13.81%), Tarapur Trans(13.79%), Mirza Intnl(13.72%), GOCL Corporation (13.03%) and Monnet Ispat(12.7%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 20.46 points down at 58786.67, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 5.55 points down at 17511.3.


In the Nifty 50 index, 25 stocks ended in the green, while 25 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Tirupati Sarjan, Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec, Network18 Media, Lorenzini Apparels and WEP Solutions hit their fresh 52-week high, while IFL Enterprises, Patel Integrat(PP), AA Plus Tradelink Ltd., Omnipotent Industries Ltd. and Stephanotis Finance touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
