Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Hindustan Fluro(14.67%), Transport Corp(14.46%), Jenburkt Pharma(13.76%), Sequent Scientific(12.53%), Bansal Roofing Prod.(12.38%), Goldiam Intnl(11.43%), Astra Microwave(11.41%), Venus Remedies(11.15%), Asahi Ind Glass(10.69%) and TBZ(10.64%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 206.93 points down at 61143.33, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 57.45 points down at 18210.95.


In the Nifty 50 index, 23 stocks ended in the green, while 27 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Singer India, KDDL Ltd, TTK Prestige, Dhabriya Polywood and Transport Corp hit their fresh 52-week high, while Focus Business Solution Ltd., Transglobe Foods, Roopshri Resorts, MAC Hotels and Nexus Commoditie touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
