Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Friday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Tarmat Ltd(14.74%), Glenmark Pharma(14.50%), Enviro Infra Enginee(12.19%), Signpost India(11.91%), Elantas Beck(11.39%) and Century Extrus(10.73%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 689.81 points down at 82500.47, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 205.41 points down at 25149.85.


In the Nifty 50 index, 12 stocks ended in the green, while 38 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Omnitex Ind, Glenmark Pharma, Cupid Ltd, Datamatics Glob and Mangalam Global Ent hit their fresh 52-week high, while Jindal Worldwide, Vedavaag Sys, RSD Finance, Ozone World and South Asian Ent touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
