Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 11 stocks ended in the green, while 39 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Virinchi (13.68%), Jagjanani Text(13.65%), Quality Power Electr(13.17%), Paushak Ltd(12.92%), Gini Silk Mills(12.76%), Garuda Construction(12.59%), Omni Axs Software (11.95%), Haldyn Glass(10.63%), Kirloskar Oil(10.41%) and Ceeta Ind(10.39%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 345.8 points down at 83190.28, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 120.85 points down at 25355.25.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Hindustan Agrigenetics Ltd., Quality Power Electr, Gowra Leasing, Crizac Ltd. and Tanfac Ind hit their fresh 52-week high, while Ozone World, Response Informatic, South Asian Ent, Salguti Industries and Yashraj Containeurs touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
