Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 13 stocks ended in the green, while 37 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Grindwell Norton(13.82%), Bonlon Industries(13.79%), VJTF Eduservice(13.77%), Shriram Pistons(13.62%), Sangal Papers(11.44%), SAL Automotive(11.20%), Nahar Industrial(11.20%), Trinity League(10.53%), Bharat Seats(10.37%) and Concord Biotech Ltd.(10.35%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 411.97 points down at 80334.81, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 140.61 points down at 24273.8.


In the Nifty 50 index, 13 stocks ended in the green, while 37 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Amit Securities, Stampede Cap(DVR), Bonlon Industries, Shriram Pistons and Privi Speciality Chemicals hit their fresh 52-week high, while UTL Industries, Divyashakti Granites, Hilton Metal, RS Software and Eastcoast Steel touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
