Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.
These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, KG Petrochem(13.43%), Sonata Software(12.62%), The Phosphate Co.(11.11%), Cochin Malabar(10.70%), AB Infrabuild(10.44%) and Global Vectra(10.00%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 46.14 points down at 80242.24, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 1.75 points down at 24334.2.
In the Nifty 50 index, 24 stocks ended in the green, while 26 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Parsharti Invst, Ind Link Chain, United Leasing, Soni Medicare and Gujarat Natural hit their fresh 52-week high, while Alstone Textiles, Welcast Steels, National Standard, Maha Corp Ltd and Shanti Educational touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
