Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Karma Energy(13.54%), Amco India(13.34%), Chemfab Alkalis(11.70%), Abhinav Leasing(11.64%) and Kanpur Plastip(10.04%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 2226.79 points down at 73137.9, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 742.86 points down at 22161.6.


In the Nifty 50 index, 1 stocks ended in the green, while 49 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as NACL Industries, PFL Infotech, Reliance Naval & Engg, Aar Shyam India Inv and Anka India hit their fresh 52-week high, while Siemens, Themis Medicare, Onward Tech, Carraro India L and Dharamsi Morarji touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
