Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Sri Nachammai(14.88%), Indegene(14.12%), OCCL Ltd.(13.17%), Samrat Forgings(12.37%), Hindustan Media(12.21%), Sahara Housing(12.20%), Transindia Real Estate(11.52%), VJTF Eduservice(11.16%), Oswal Agro Mill(11.04%) and Source Natural(10.94%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 12.85 points down at 74102.32, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 37.61 points up at 22497.9.


In the Nifty 50 index, 29 stocks ended in the green, while 21 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Covance Softsol L, Vadilal Enterprises, Sarda Energy, Tavernier Res and Autoriders Intnl hit their fresh 52-week high, while IndusInd Bank, K&R Rail Engineering, Abhinav Leasing, Sangal Papers and AAA Technologies touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
