Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the green on Friday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Triveni Turbine(14.97%), Data Patterns(India)(14.82%), Mysore Petro(14.60%), Hindprakash Ind(14.38%), Compucom Software(13.80%), Nahar Spinning(13.26%), G V Films(13.11%), Inox Wind Ltd.(11.49%), Associated Alcohols & Breweries(11.20%) and Ravileela Granites(11.17%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 7.51 points down at 74332.58, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 7.8 points up at 22552.5.


In the Nifty 50 index, 23 stocks ended in the green, while 27 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as AVI Polymers Ltd., Triumph International Finance India Ltd., TCPL Packaging, Deccan Cements and Covance Softsol L hit their fresh 52-week high, while B C Power Controls, Lime Chemicals, Mihika Industries, India Lease Dev and Anjani Foods touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
