Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, India Cements(15.00%), Bonlon Industries(14.82%), NACL Industries (14.63%), Concord Biotech Ltd.(14.62%), Sundaram-Clayton(14.03%), Mediaone Global Entertainment(14.00%), Ramco Systems(13.31%), Vadilal Ind(13.09%), Sun Pharma Adv Res.(12.99%) and Manorama Ind(12.60%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 96.01 points down at 72989.93, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 36.65 points down at 22082.65.


In the Nifty 50 index, 23 stocks ended in the green, while 27 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as TCPL Packaging, Covance Softsol L, Sobhagya Mercantile, Bio Green Paper and Adhata Global Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Gensol Engg, HKG Ltd, Veerhealth Care, Arnold Holdings and Amarnath Securities touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
