Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Apollo Pipes (13.65%), Kimia Biosciences(13.60%), Trio Mercantile(13.40%), Medi-Caps Ltd(12.30%), Indian Hume Pipe(12.09%), Sonal Mercantile(11.78%), Brand Concepts(11.50%), DIC India Ltd(10.35%), ETT Ltd(10.14%) and Sanrhea Tech(10.00%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 856.65 points down at 74454.41, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 242.56 points down at 22553.35.


In the Nifty 50 index, 12 stocks ended in the green, while 38 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Technojet Cons, Shree Rama News, Precision Containeurs, Shashank Traders and Hira Automobiles hit their fresh 52-week high, while ISF Ltd, Khandwala Sec, Prismx Global Ventures, Stallion India Fluor and Mediaone Global Entertainment touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
