Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 27 stocks ended in the green, while 23 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Friday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Phyto Chem(14.13%), Manomay Tex India(12.99%), Polyspin Exp(12.74%), SAL Steel Ltd(12.21%), Shah Alloys(12.19%), Bharti Hexacom(11.82%), Welspun Investments (10.33%), Skyline Ventures(10.00%), Creative Eye(10.00%) and Hexa Tradex(10.00%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 197.97 points down at 77860.19, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 43.4 points down at 23559.95.


In the Nifty 50 index, 27 stocks ended in the green, while 23 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Nath Ind., Aarti Pharmalabs, Thirdwave Financial, Eyantra Ventures and RDB Real Estate Cons hit their fresh 52-week high, while Carraro India L, Apollo Finvest, K Z Leasing, Sonata Software and Southern Magnesium touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
