Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Himachal Fibres(13.28%), De Nora India(13.23%), Centrum Capital(13.11%), Vimta Labs(13.03%), Trescon(12.65%), Jai Balaji Inds(12.35%), Eris Lifesciences(11.64%), AVI Polymers Ltd.(11.25%), Natraj Proteins(11.22%) and Yasho Industries(11.11%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 312.53 points down at 78271.28, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 42.96 points down at 23696.3.


In the Nifty 50 index, 23 stocks ended in the green, while 27 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sharp India, Kanpur Plastip, AVI Polymers Ltd., Pulsar International and Eyantra Ventures hit their fresh 52-week high, while ObjectOne Information Systems, Titan Intech, Vivanza Biosciences, AGS Transact Tech and Miven Machine touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
