Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the on Friday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Tai Industries(14.80%), P G Foils(14.47%), India Tourism(14.08%), IEL Ltd.(13.55%), Megastar Foods(13.07%), Gayatri Sugars(12.46%), Raj Oil Mills(12.27%), Dev Information Tech(12.14%), Vivo Bio Tech(11.92%) and Apollo Micro Systems(11.66%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 720.6 points down at 79223.11, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 183.91 points at 24004.75.


In the Nifty 50 index, 21 stocks ended in the green, while 29 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Avonmore Capital, ITI Ltd, Tai Industries, P G Foils and Dev Information Tech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Jai Corp, Shangar Decor, IGC Industries, Quadrant Tele and Transgene Biotek touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
