Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the on Monday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, AstraZeneca(14.93%), Purple Entertainment(14.60%), Tuticorin Alkali(14.00%), GCM Sec(11.53%), Bajaj Holdings(11.41%), Adani Gas(11.20%), IREDA(10.86%), Systematix Sec(10.30%), Pfizer(10.00%) and Cindrella Hotel(10.00%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 450.94 points down at 78248.13, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 168.5 points at 23644.9.


In the Nifty 50 index, 11 stocks ended in the green, while 39 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Maestros Elec, MPDL, Bampsl Sec, Gujarat Hotels and Bajaj Holdings hit their fresh 52-week high, while Balaji Amines, DAM Capital Advisors, Odigma Consultancy, Concord Enviro Syste and Kenvi Jewels touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
