Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, VTM Ltd(14.79%), STC India(14.65%), Joonktollee Tea(13.47%), DEE Development Eng(12.24%), KIOCL(11.86%), Neuland Labs(11.16%) and Swarna Sec(10.00%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 820.97 points down at 78675.18, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 257.85 points at 23883.45.


In the Nifty 50 index, 7 stocks ended in the green, while 43 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Smart Finsec, VTM Ltd, Neuland Labs, Tera Software and Electrotherm hit their fresh 52-week high, while Taylormade Renewable, Electronics Mart Ind, Akums Drugs & Pharma, Riddhi Corp. Service and KLRF Ltd touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
