Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Thursday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 289.96 points down at 62387.95 level on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Rollatainers Ltd(up 10.0%), Escorp Asset Manage(up 9.94%), A F Enterprises(up 9.94%), Nagreeka Capital(up 9.89%), Sical Logistics(up 9.87%), Veeram Securities(up 9.8%), SM Auto(up 9.76%), Jai Mata Glass(up 9.68%), SAB Industries(up 9.4%) and UCO Bank(up 9.31%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included IndusInd Bank(up 1.22%), SBI Life(up 1.12%), NTPC(up 0.84%), Hero MotoCorp(up 0.67%) and Tata Motors(up 0.67%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 81.8 points lower at 18578.5.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 16 shares traded in the green, while 34 traded in the red.
