Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Monday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 579.26 points down at 59066.89 level on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Forbes Company(up 10.0%), Waaree Technologies(up 10.0%), SecMark Consultancy(up 9.99%), Websol Energy(up 9.97%), Transwarr Fin(up 9.92%), Eros Media(up 9.9%), Mega Corp(up 9.85%), Ruby Mills(up 9.41%), Nexus Commoditie(up 9.0%) and Available Fin(up 8.74%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Britannia(up 1.46%), ITC(up 1.20%), HUL(up 1.03%), NTPC(up 0.51%) and Tata Consumer(up 0.40%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 183.85 points lower at 17574.6.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 7 shares traded in the green, while 43 traded in the red.
