Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Wednesday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 4.84 points down at 83692.45 level on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were U Y Fincorp(up 9.98%), V B Industries(up 9.94%), Creative Casting(up 9.86%), Ambar Protein Ind(up 9.38%), Indo Asia Fin(up 9.33%), Nirmitee Robotics(up 8.93%), Natraj Proteins(up 8.60%), Sri Lakshmi Saraswathi Textiles(up 8.44%), Ravileela Granites(up 8.30%) and K Z Leasing(up 8.06%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Infosys(up 2.23%), TCS(up 1.18%), Wipro(up 1.04%), Tech Mahindra(up 0.79%) and Kotak Bank(up 0.49%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 14.8 points lower at 25527.0.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 21 shares traded in the green, while 29 traded in the red.
