Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Thursday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 324.1 points down at 76293.34 level on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Prabha Energy(up 9.99%), Aarey Drugs(up 9.98%), Ansal Buildwell(up 9.89%), Intellivate Cap(up 9.87%), Zenith Health(up 9.83%), Bharat Immunological (up 9.81%), Shiva Cement(up 9.81%), Sharp Investments(up 9.64%), Emmessar Biotech(up 9.44%) and Frontline Corp(up 9.18%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Sun Pharma(up 4.26%), Cipla(up 3.00%), Dr. Reddys(up 2.81%), Shriram Finance(up 1.31%) and Titan Company (up 1.22%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 85.3 points lower at 23247.05.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 20 shares traded in the green, while 30 traded in the red.
