Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Tuesday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 16.68 points down at 75980.18 level on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Starlog Enterprises(up 9.99%), Ras Resorts(up 9.92%), Gujarat Toolroom(up 9.80%), Adhbhut Infra(up 9.54%), B&A Ltd(up 9.19%), HB Portfolio(up 8.90%), Best Eastern(up 8.82%), Samrat Pharma(up 8.62%), Ador Multiprod(up 8.61%) and Sandur Manganese(up 8.57%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Tech Mahindra(up 1.23%), Wipro(up 1.15%), Apollo Hospital(up 0.95%), Infosys(up 0.89%) and Bajaj Finserv(up 0.85%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 30.46 points lower at 22929.05.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 14 shares traded in the green, while 36 traded in the red.
