Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 5% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks surged as much as 5% or more in Monday's trade on Dalal Street as benchmark Sensex traded 567.35 points down at 75371.86 level on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Among these top gainers were Olympia Ind(up 10.00%), JHS Svendgaard Retai(up 10.00%), E-Land Apparel (up 10.00%), RDB Real Estate Cons(up 9.98%), United Credit(up 9.96%), Vintron Info(up 9.91%), Priya Ltd(up 9.87%), Kunststoffe Ind(up 9.85%), Aryaman Fin(up 9.76%) and Valson Ind(up 9.66%).

In the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers included Sun Pharma(up 1.08%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.97%), Asian Paints(up 0.79%), SBI Life(up 0.53%) and Cipla(up 0.52%).


The Nifty 50 index was trading 178.3 points lower at 22750.95.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty pack, 11 shares traded in the green, while 39 traded in the red.
