Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Omkar Speciality(up 20.0%), Fervent Syn(up 20.0%), Tips Films Ltd.(up 20.0%), Bajaj Steel(up 19.99%), Cravatex Ltd(up 19.99%), DC Infotech(up 19.97%), Mafia Trends Ltd.(up 19.92%) and Gokul Agro Resources(up 18.03%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 113.97 points down at 58993.22, while the 50-share index, NSE was 32.05 points down at 17480.2.


In the Nifty50 index, 22 stocks traded in the green, while 28 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Tips Films Ltd., DC Infotech, Mafia Trends Ltd., Remi Edelstahl and Advitiya Trade India hit their fresh 52-week high, while Coastal Corp(PP), JohnsonCtrls Hitachi, Piramal Pharma Ltd., Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd. and Mehai Technology touched their new 52-week low during the session.
