NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Navoday Enterprises Ltd.(up 20.0%), Universus Photo(up 19.02%), Gujarat Poly Ele(up 17.99%), Ravinder Heights Ltd.(up 15.93%) and Axita Cotton(up 15.44%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 783.35 points down at 57407.94, while the 50-share index, NSE was 238.95 points down at 17075.7.

Stocks such as Gujarat Poly Ele, Axita Cotton, Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd., Gretex Corporate Services Ltd. and Milkfood Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while GKP Printing & Pack, S M Gold, Hind Nat Glass, Shubham Polyspin and My Money Securit touched their new 52-week low during the session.
