Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Reliance Home Fin(up 20.0%), Omax Autos(up 19.98%), Country Club Hospit(up 19.92%), Evoq Remedies Ltd.(up 19.39%), Wagend Infra(up 19.39%), JHS Svendgaard(up 17.06%), Celebrity Fash(up 16.35%), Reliance Power(up 15.88%) and AksharChem Ltd(up 15.54%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 40.73 points down at 58725.86, while the 50-share index, NSE was 2.95 points down at 17539.85.


In the Nifty50 index, 20 stocks traded in the green, while 30 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Celebrity Fash, Reliance Power, Nicco Park Res, PAE Ltd and M M Rubber hit their fresh 52-week high, while S M Gold, Futuristic Sec, FutureLifestyleFash, A F Enterprises and Max Alert Systems Ltd. touched their new 52-week low during the session.
