Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 2 stocks were trading in the green, while 48 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Sri Lakshmi Sar(up 16.81%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 1501.03 points down at 52802.41, while the 50-share index, NSE was 429.4 points down at 15772.4.


In the Nifty50 index, 2 stocks traded in the green, while 48 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Marathon Nextgen, Lords Chloro, Kohinoor Foods, Standard Ind and Hindustan Motor hit their fresh 52-week high, while Bajaj Finance, Gujarat Gas, HKG Ltd, Anupam Rasayan India Ltd. and Vardhman Textiles touched their new 52-week low during the session.
