Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 17 stocks were trading in the green, while 33 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Atam Valves(up 19.92%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 134.93 points down at 57460.75, while the 50-share index, NSE was 39.5 points down at 17183.25.


In the Nifty50 index, 17 stocks traded in the green, while 33 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Atam Valves, Sunshield Chem, VIP Ind., Inox Leisure and Decorous Investme hit their fresh 52-week high, while Aryaman Capital, Future Enterprises, Eureka Forbes Ltd., GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd. and Libord Sec touched their new 52-week low during the session.
