Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks were trading in the green, while 21 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Tyche Inds(up 20.0%), Sree Rayalaseema(up 20.0%), Avantel(up 19.99%), Retro Green Revoluti(up 19.98%), U Y Fincorp(up 18.78%) and S R G Sec. Fin.(up 16.61%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 117.34 points down at 56368.68, while the 50-share index, NSE was 32.95 points down at 16838.35.


In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Sree Rayalaseema, Nahar Capital, Kriti Nutrients, Nirmitee Robotics and Kothari Prod hit their fresh 52-week high, while PayTM, U P Hotels Ltd., Cella Space, G G Engineering and CMI Ltd touched their new 52-week low during the session.
