Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 21 stocks were trading in the green, while 29 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

U P Hotels Ltd.(up 49.48%), Oracle Credit(up 19.93%), Orient Press(up 19.93%) and Prime Fresh(up 17.75%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 34.93 points down at 52807.82, while the 50-share index, NSE was 36.7 points down at 15826.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 21 stocks traded in the green, while 29 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as U P Hotels Ltd., Prime Fresh, Mawana Sugars, Future Enterprises (DVR)and Dwarikesh Sugar hit their fresh 52-week high, while Suumaya Corporation Ltd., Omnipotent Industries Ltd., Bharat Immuno, McNally Bharat and Motherson Sumi touched their new 52-week low during the session.
