Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Jyoti Resins(up 20.0%), Ugar Sugar Work(up 20.0%), Starline Precious(up 19.98%), Mahalaxmi Rub(up 19.95%), Billwin Industries L(up 19.89%), The Mandhana Retail(up 19.89%), Nahar Industrial(up 18.81%) and Archies Ltd(up 18.77%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 662.96 points down at 57981.86, while the 50-share index, NSE was 199.95 points down at 17316.35.


In the Nifty50 index, 8 stocks traded in the green, while 42 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Jyoti Resins, Ugar Sugar Work, Starline Precious, Mahalaxmi Rub and Nahar Industrial hit their fresh 52-week high, while Ujjivan Financial, Neuland Labs, Jubilant Life, Lupin and Asian Hotels(W)touched their new 52-week low during the session.
